Keep Your Uterus Healthy

I just read the most informative (non text book) book called The Uterine Health Companion. This book is unlike any I've read on female health. For one thing, the uterus is actually a respected, vital organ. The Uterine Health Companion was written in a very clear, concise way and is full of up to date information on all issues related to the uterus. Shared information includes common medical treatments & holistic alternatives for everything uterus related.

Some shocking information there too. Did you know that the United States has the highest rate of hysterectomy? One third of women no longer have a uterus. Most medical professionals in our country view the uterus as a baby machine, and that's all. Once a woman is no longer giving birth, her uterus is suddenly considered a problem. In reality, the loss of the uterus may resolve some issues on a superficial level, but leaves women with a host of new ones. There's healing information included for women that have had hysterectomies.

If you have a uterus, or love someone that does, you can't afford not to read this book.

Let me know what you think...

To good health,
