Poppy Seed Cake Recipe

Do you have any poppy seed filling left? We do (but not much, it was so good!). I developed this recipe to use the poppy filling. It's moist, it's pretty, it's delicious.

Poppy Seed Cake Recipe:
  • 3 cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2/3 cup grapeseed oil
  • 4 eggs
  • ¾ cup milk (or orange juice)
  • ½ cup poppy mix.
Combine the flour, salt and baking powder. In a separate bowl, combine the maple syrup, oil, eggs & milk.
Combine the dry and wet ingredients. Mix in the poppy seed filling.
Bake in a greased tube pan at 350 for 40 minutes.
